AM Muay Training
Morning Session, starts at 6.30 am with a long run along the beach (8-10km around 50 min) back at camp , bit of stretching then jump rope . After that it will vary following your level and the number of guests. Techniques , and application will take about 30 -45 mn , followed by sparring, bag workout, with or without cardio drill (depending on the day) or Pad workout 1 on 1 with trainer. then body reinforcement and plank. swimming.
PM Muay Training
Afternoon session, short run 2-4 km ( 20 mn ) skipping rope , shadow boxing , bag workout , power or freestyle , pads 1 on 1 with trainer, sparring , muay thai clinch , reinforcement , stretching, swimming. All training is not necessarily in that order, it will differ from day to day.
The Muay thai clinch is slowly disappearing in most Muay Thai gyms around the world , as the fight format of 3 rounds is more and more used in competition , along with the point system according to less importance in the Clinch.
With our love of Thai Boxing we tend to keep the traditional way of teaching the clinch, at least 20 to 30 mn each day at the afternoon session.
